Waiheke Island
Just a 40 minute ferry ride from Auckland’s downtown port, Waiheke is a beautiful island with vineyards, white sandy beaches and alluring landscapes. Perfect for a day outdoors with the family!
Sky Walking/Jumping at the Sky Tower
Skywalk involves walking along a narrow walkway around the Sky Tower without any handrail, 192 m above the ground.
Sky jumping, on the other hand, is a daredevil act where one will dive 192 metres off the Sky Tower at 85 km an hour speed. This is one of the best adventure activities in Auckland.

Rangitoto Island
Just off the coast of the central city, Rangitoto Island is a dormant volcanic cone. Known for its spectacular views, it just a ferry ride away.
Great Barrier Island
Great Barrier Island is a large island in the Auckland region, with a small population. The forests, beaches and bays provide scope for all kinds of wilderness adventures.
Art, Culture and Museums
Auckland’s world-class exhibits and art galleries and unmissable! New Zealand’s Maori culture is well displayed through contemporary collections in the city. Auckland Museum also is an ideal destination for art and culture lovers – something for everyone!
Mount Eden
Mount Eden is a volcanic summit, known for its views and sacred meaning. An astonishing bowl-like crater with a depth of 50 metres (160 feet), it is as much a part of the summit’s appeal as the spectacular 360-degree city panoramas on show.
Piha Beach
Location just off west Auckland, Piha Beach is a black sand beach known for surfing and its beautiful scenery. There are also several walks and trails through the forest and surrounding hilly areas.
Regional Parks
Auckland has a collection of over 25 regional parks! Ideal for a BBQ lunch or just a day out with kids – take a walk along the forest or a dip in the lake, there’s something for everyone to do!
